ArabiaWeather.com- The Cave of Thawr is one of the most important religious monuments that Muslims from all over the world draw to every year, and with the approach of the Hijri New Year, hearts beat longing for this place.

The cave of Thawr is located in Jabal Thawr in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in the west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is 748 meters above sea level, and is four kilometers away on the southern side of the Grand Mosque.

The cave occupies a great place in the hearts of Muslims, given that the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, took refuge with him during his migration from Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Al-Madinah Al-Munawar, accompanied by Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and they left it after the situation outside the cave calmed down and the infidels of Quraysh moved away from them, to continue their way to Medina. Medina.

While they were in the cave of Thawr, the Quraysh came looking for them, and stood at the door of the cave, and nothing separated them, except that God returned them with His grace and ability, as the spider weaved its house at the door of the cave, and the pigeon also built its nest at its door, and Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, says: If someone looked at his feet, he would see us under his feet. The Prophet said to him: “Oh Abu Bakr, what do you think of two people, God is the third of them?” Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

And God Almighty mentioned this incident in His Book, and He, Glory be to Him, said: “If you do not help him, then God has already helped him when those who disbelieved drove him out in pairs when they were in the cave when he said to Sahih Do not grieve with it, for God is with us, so God sent down His tranquility upon him, and supported him with armies that you did not see, and made the word of those who disbelieved. The bottom and the word of God is The Most High, and God is Mighty, Wise.”
